What is Thyroid Care?
Thyroid Care is specialized management and treatment of conditions related to a patient's thyroid gland.
The thyroid gland is a butterfly-shaped endocrine gland that is located in the lower front of the neck and is responsible for producing thyroid hormones. Without these hormones, the body cannot function correctly – preventing it from using energy, staying warm, and keeping the brain, heart, muscles, and other organs working as they should.
When the thyroid experiences a disruption, it can over-perform or under-perform, leading to a host of complications. At Aylo Health, we can help you manage and treat these complications associate with the thyroid gland.
Over 43,000 Americans are diagnosed with Thyroid cancer every year.
Every year, about 12,000 men and 33,000 women are diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and more than 2,200 Americans die from Thyroid cancer annually. Don’t let complications with your Thyroid go unnoticed.

We use sound waves to produce photos of the thyroid gland, which is commonly used to evaluate lumps or nodules found during routine physical or other imaging exams.
Your doctor will remove a tiny bit of your thyroid or nodule (lump) in-house to test in a lab. This procedure will either lead to “watchful waiting” (if benign) or surgery (if cancerous).
Nuclear Thyroid Scanning
This is used to evaluate the way your thyroid functions. This scan also uses small amounts of radioactive material to diagnose thyroid diseases.
