COVID-19 Antibody Test

Your body creates antibodies when it fights off an infection, which is how you can develop immunity to a virus.

What is a COVID-19 Antibody test?

It analyzes the blood ― looking for antibodies produced by the immune system after the infection has occurred.

This new test does not diagnose or detect the virus itself. The COVID-19 antibody (IgG) may indicate previous exposure to the virus and is usually detectable after at least 10 days following infection. Those who test positive for antibodies may have protective immunity.

For those with a known prior infection, past exposure, or previously experienced symptoms that may be due to a COVID-19 infection but were never tested, our Aylo providers can help you determine whether this antibody test may be right for you.
