Shazzanne Pennant MD

Dr. Pennant is a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine physician committed to providing equitable and personalized care to her patients. She completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her journey into medicine continued at Howard University College of Medicine, where she graduated with her medical degree. Dr. Pennant completed her medical internship and residency at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, specializing in Family Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Inspired by her experiences growing up in South Florida and her education at Howard University, Dr. Pennant chose a career in medicine to combine her passion for community service, research, and improving health outcomes. Dr. Pennant is deeply committed to community engagement, global health, women’s health, and lifestyle medicine. She believes in a collaborative approach to healthcare, where patient partnerships are essential for achieving the best outcomes. Her dedication to understanding each patient’s unique needs allows her to provide personalized care that fosters trust and respect.

Outside of her practicing medicine, Dr. Pennant enjoys listening to podcasts, traveling, and engaging in outdoor activities. These hobbies allow her to maintain a balanced and fulfilling life while continuing to broaden her perspective and stay connected with the world around her.
