Rhonda Cartagena is most passionate about building a relationship with her patients and encouraging them to be an active force in their healthcare decision-making.
Rhonda Cartagena, FNP-C received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Clayton State University in 2005 in Morrow, GA. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2011 from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. Rhonda felt driven to healthcare at a young age after witnessing many of her friends and family members experience health disparities — hoping one day she would be a changing force for those in need of proper health care.
Rhonda loves interacting with her patients, and getting to know them on a human level allows her to provide them with the best quality care. She strives to provide a positive experience for each patient and creates a comfortable environment for them to share any medical concerns. Rhonda is Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and in her free time, enjoys catching up on her favorite shows, watching her daughter play basketball, and spending quality time with her family.
Rhonda Cartagena is by far the best provider I have ever seen. She was thorough and gentle during my exam. She explained everything she was doing before she did it. She is an excellent NP. I will be requesting to see only her for any further appointments for myself and my children.
