Melissa Hernandez, MD attended SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York, graduating with her medical degree in 2011. She later completed her Pediatrics Residency at the Steve and Alexander Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York in 2014.
Dr. Hernandez is a dedicated Pediatrician with a warm, friendly, and caring personality and is focused on patient-centered care. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and can speak both Haitian Creole and Spanish.
Mrs. Hernandez is amazing! She remembers my son’s name and converses with him like a big boy. She makes the appointment very pleasant. Plus there was no wait! We were seen at our time!! That is a big plus!!!
