Lisa Onokalah, FNP-C

Lisa Onokalah, FNP-C, brings a lifelong passion for nursing and a deep commitment to compassionate care to her practice. Inspired by watching her mother nurture patients and family alike through times of sickness and uncertainty, Lisa always knew she wanted to follow in those footsteps. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Lisa’s clinical interests center on chronic disease management and preventive care education, two areas she finds deeply rewarding for the ongoing knowledge they require and the meaningful impact they have on patients’ long-term quality of life. She strongly believes in working alongside patients to manage their health rather than simply directing their care, and she brings a culturally competent, patient-centered approach to every visit.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring new foods, a self-described foodie who will try just about anything. She also shares a special connection to the nursing field with her twin sister, who followed a similar path into the profession.
