About Liliana Llopart-Herrera, MD
Dr. Herrera is most passionate about educating her patients on preventive care and yearly checkups — as she believes prevention is key and staying up to date with screenings is important to avoid many chronic illnesses.
Liliana Llopart-Herrera, MD attended Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, Bayamón, PR – graduating with her medical degree in 2018. Post-medical school, Dr. Herrera completed her medical Residency at VA Caribbean Healthcare System – where she specialized in Internal Medicine. After growing up in a family of clinical educators and witnessing many health disparities affect her community, she felt called to serve others by practicing medicine.
Dr. Herrera loves earning her patient’s trust and seeing the positive impact she has on their lives through her care. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and is a member of the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. In her free time, Dr. Herrera enjoys cooking and trying new foods, dancing, and cycling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
