Kathryn Murphy, APRN, FNP-C

Kathryn Murphy FNP-C, ENP-C, brings a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gordon College and later completed her Master’s degree in Nursing at Emory University.  She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in both Family and Emergency medicine.

Kathryn chose a career in primary care because she believes healthcare is at its best when it is personal, consistent, and built on trust. She strives to be the kind of provider patients turn to not only during illness but throughout every stage of life, from preventive care and wellness visits to chronic disease management.

Kathryn  is especially passionate about empowering patients with knowledge, creating individualized care plans, and forming long-term partnerships that prioritize whole-person wellness. She has particular interests in preventive medicine, chronic disease management (including diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol), and supporting families through their health journeys. Kathryn is specialized in joint injections, laceration repairs, as well as incision and drainage. She is a certified DOT examiner, allowing her to further expand her impact in patient care.

Outside of work, Kathryn cherishes time with her family, which includes her husband and her three children. Kathryn enjoys spending time outside of work going camping in her RV around the country, as well as spending lots of time at Disneyworld.
