Derquis Johnson is most passionate about educating her patients so they have the information and tools they need to make informed decisions to live a healthy life.
Derquis Johnson, FNP-C graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2021 from Mercer University, after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lander University in South Carolina. She came into the medical profession because she wanted to be at the forefront of healthcare because she believes healthy people can do amazing things. Along with that, she believes healthy people lead to healthy communities and healthy communities can lead to a healthy society.
Derquis emphasizes active listening with her patients because it’s essential to build trust between her and her patients. Derquis is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, eating great food, listening to great music, and just making memories.
