October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re thrilled to engage with our community in meaningful ways. Earlier this month, we kicked off our community efforts by visiting Stockbridge and Locust Grove, where we handed out flowers to promote the importance of regular mammograms because early detection saves lives. It’s a reminder that taking care of your health is essential, and mammograms play a critical role in that journey.

Spreading Joy and Awareness in Canton and Woodstock

We began the weekend in downtown Canton and downtown Woodstock, where we visited Bizarre Coffee. As we strolled through our amazing communities, we brightened people’s day with flowers, sparking conversations around the significance of early detection and breast cancer awareness. It was incredibly rewarding to see smiles and create meaningful connections as we encouraged everyone to prioritize their health and well-being.

Engaging with the Community

Our next stop was in Stockbridge where we spent a sunny Sunday morning at Stockbridge First United Methodist Church, where we dropped off flowers along with vital information about breast cancer awareness. We also visited Locust Grove and Relevant Church, continuing to spread the message of early detection and the importance of health empowerment. These visits gave us a chance to emphasize the importance of regular mammograms and remind everyone to prioritize their health.

Appreciating Educators and Promoting Health at OLA High School

We had the pleasure of visiting OLA High School in McDonough, GA to honor educators with flowers. It was a small gesture of gratitude for the important role they play in our community while also sharing knowledge about preventative care for Breast Cancer   By sharing flowers and information, we highlighted the importance of early detection and encouraged everyone to stay proactive about their health.

Engaging with Stockbridge Elementary School

Our director of imaging services, Vickie Munsey, visited Stockbridge Elementary School to connect with educators and staff about the vital importance of early detection through annual mammograms. During her visit, she also shared information about other essential women’s services available at Aylo Health, including DEXA Bone Density tests, women’s wellness exams, and thyroid care.

To brighten their day, we handed out flowers as a token of appreciation and support. It was an inspiring morning that underscored our commitment to health education and community well-being.

As we continue to move through this month, we’re reminded of the incredible power of community in spreading awareness and making a difference.

Together, let’s keep the conversation going and ensure that health and early detection remain top priorities for everyone.
