Independently-Owned Healthcare Network Set To Open New Location In Woodstock; Brings 200 Jobs to North Atlanta
ATLANTA — November 14, 2024 — Aylo Health, an independent, family-owned network of primary care practices in Georgia, has announced it will open its newest Aylo Health Primary Care Practice and Imaging Center at 604 Lovejoy Lane in Woodstock this December. The new location will be one of the few independently owned primary care practices in Georgia to house a full-service, on-site imaging center. The Woodstock location will mark Aylo’s first office of this design in North Atlanta.
“Expanding Aylo’s presence across Georgia means even more residents will get to experience better primary care, ultimately creating healthier communities across the state,” said Nick Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Aylo Health. “We know healthy people can do amazing things, which is why we make quality healthcare simple and convenient and are eager to serve residents from Cherokee, Cobb and surrounding counties through our state-of-the-art facility in Woodstock.”
With the addition of the Woodstock location, Aylo Health is responsible for bringing more than 200 new jobs to the North Atlanta market including clinical, administrative and leadership positions. The opening is part of Aylo’s growth strategy into the area that is built on the foundational success of its locations south of Atlanta.
“Woodstock is a historic city with a strong community and vibrant culture,” said Tim Reichert, Aylo Health’s Vice President of Marketing. “We are excited to plant our roots and do our part in supporting residents’ health journeys with a personalized level of care that is hard to find in the healthcare industry.”
The two-story, 25,000 square-foot Woodstock facility will house Aylo Health’s fourth primary care practice in the area and offer the convenience of in-house labs, x-rays, extended hours, weekend availability and same-day appointments.
The ACR accredited facility will be home to Aylo Health’s third full-service imaging center, equipped with advanced technology including a 128 slice CT machine, three ultrasound units, an echocardiogram machine, and a DEXA (dual x-ray absorptiometry) bone density unit. The Woodstock imaging center will also feature three state-of-the-art mammogram machines featuring cutting-edge 3D tomosynthesis mammography, which captures breast images in thin slices, enabling radiologists to detect smaller abnormalities earlier—often before they can be identified during a physical exam.
Vickie Munsey, Aylo Health’s Director of Imaging, played a key role in designing an area of the imaging center dedicated to providing a comfortable environment for women-centric services. “Key imaging modalities, including mammography, DEXA bone density scans and ultrasounds, will be consolidated into a private and welcoming area of the imaging center,” she said. “We intentionally built out the area with private changing rooms, supportive furniture designed for comfort and educational resources to provide a tailored, patient-centered experience for women.”
“Aylo provides patients the personalized comprehensive care they deserve,” said Keith Lott, Aylo Health’s Chief Operating Officer. “We leverage our clinical expertise, diagnostic tools, and technology to provide quality care for each patient. Our model allows us to identify underlying health conditions earlier which in turn produces better outcomes. Our on-site imaging center is a key component to this model providing patients a convenient and cost-efficient option.”
The Woodstock location marks the company’s sixteenth and seventeenth practices in the state, following recent primary care openings in Canton, Kennesaw and Ball Ground. As Aylo’s first imaging center in North Atlanta, patients from nearby practices will now have a better, more convenient option tailored to their imaging services needs.
Aylo Health is on a mission to make quality healthcare simple and convenient, because healthy people can do amazing things. Founded on a 30-year legacy that began with a single primary care practice in McDonough, Ga., Aylo continues to redefine traditional healthcare by offering comprehensive primary care, imaging, sleep and pediatric services with the convenience of extended hours and weekend appointments.
Aylo will host an open house event and ribbon cutting with the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, December 11 and will announce more details in the coming weeks. For more information about Aylo Health Primary Care and Imaging Center at Woodstock, click here.
