What We Tried
We were excited to explore the menu, and while everything looked incredible, we decided to try two standout dishes: the Piccata Zoodle Bowl and the Thai Cauliflower Steak.
Piccata Zoodle Bowl
For those who love Italian flavors but want to avoid the carbs, the Piccata Zoodle Bowl is a perfect choice.
Zucchini noodles take the place of traditional pasta, offering a lighter, veggie-packed base that is low in calories and high in nutrients. They contain potassium, vitamin C, folate, vitamin A, and iron, with no cholesterol and almost zero fat. Those vitamins and minerals provide a bevy of benefits from helping to regulate blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease by balancing sodium levels to supporting immune system function.
We added grilled chicken for some lean protein, which was topped with a flavorful piccata sauce and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The balance of tangy lemon, capers, and creamy parmesan made this dish feel indulgent while still being a healthy option.
Thai Cauliflower Steak
This dish was a vibrant, plant-based option full of flavor and texture. The cauliflower steak was generously topped with a delicious sesame ginger sauce, giving it a savory, slightly sweet kick.
Cauliflower is high in fiber, a good source of antioxidants, and rich in choline, which can help support a healthy nervous system.
Served with cauliflower rice and stir-fried vegetables, this dish is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a filling yet nutrient-dense meal. The combination of spices and fresh vegetables left us feeling satisfied without the heaviness of a typical entrée.
