Aylo & The Revs are Ready to Score
March 12 • 2018
Aylo Health is proud to be an active member of the community. Whether it’s fostering community through local events, sponsoring small businesses, or celebrating young athletes who are setting an example for others, Aylo Health is all about the people. So it was an obvious fit when the Georgia Revolution FC and Aylo Health came together to help strengthen the local sports community. Before Atlanta United came to town, there was the Georgia Revolution FC (the “Revs”), a highly competitive team in the National Premier Soccer League. The team has been around since 2010 but started playing in Henry County in 2011. This year, they’ve moved their playing field to Henry County High, which is right in the heart of McDonough. And with this team attracting thousands of fans over the course of the season, it’s no surprise that this team will play a role in the city’s progress. And the anticipation of this team’s new season? Insane. The Revolution’s social media reach is also impressive, coming in second to Atlanta United.
But don’t mistake The Revolution as just a ‘local soccer team.’ The team is made up of highly-skilled athletes, ready to take their talents to the field to make the state of Georgia proud. Not only that, but they have a mission to help build the local community. Right now, The Revs are finalizing a non-profit launch that will benefit children. This new organization will provide families affordable access to sports for their kids through after-school programs and camps. The ultimate goal is to see to it that all kids, no matter their economic situation, can experience the benefits of competitive sports.
So where does Aylo Health fit in? One of the most important contributions we’re making is financial– sponsoring the team. This is our second year with The Revs, and we’re excited to renew our commitment for 2018. And our partnership is a personal one– the coaches and staff are patients of Aylo Health, and they also recommend us to the team. Not only is the partnership a win-win for our organizations, but it’s also an excellent way to combine the complementary disciplines of medicine and sports. Both are focused on building community and inspiring healthier lifestyles in kids.
Aylo and The Revs are looking for new ways to come together and build our local community, and we invite you to participate. Stay connected to Aylo and The Georgia Revolution on Social Media to learn more. And come check out the Revs in their first home game at Henry County High School in McDonough, GA on May 4th at 7:30 PM.
